Apple Leads Carbon Markets by Example
During yesterday's iPhone event, Apple showcased a compelling video that gave me chills. It’s a must watch (pun intended) for everybody:
After watching the video, does someone still think that the carbon markets are not real?
I have seen how Apple works with nature-based solutions, their attention to detail is amazing and they have clearly made sure that all their carbon market actions are bulletproof.
Now, for that pun: Apple's latest watch isn't just a technological marvel — it's their first carbon-neutral product. Their strategy exemplifies how businesses should tackle carbon emissions. Firstly, they've reduced their carbon footprint by an impressive 78%. And, acknowledging that achieving a complete zero footprint is challenging, they're offsetting the remaining through the carbon markets.
Apple is not just following the trend; they're setting the gold standard for where the global market is heading.
